Nighty, Night Ritual for Great Night's Sleep
How many of you have difficulty sleeping? I used to have many, many, many restless nights, and it was so frustrating. I researched many natural aids, which helped for a few nights, and then I was back to tossing and turning and going out of my mind
. Can any of you relate?
What really helps me now is to get in touch with any thoughts, any emotions, that want to express themselves before I enter my dream world. It's like they say in wedding ceremonies, "Is there anyone here who opposes this marriage?" You can switch the words and say, "Is there anyone here who opposes my restful sleep?"
So here's the nighty, night ritual…..
Before retiring, allow yourself about 15-30 minutes to have your down time, and prepare yourself for pure relaxation. Sit on the floor, and light a candle. Take a few deep breaths, and then ask for all the thoughts within you to come forward that would like an opportunity to voice what they have to say. Usually, there is some unresolved "stuff" that is there, and by simply allowing them to get it all out, you have enabled peace to surround you. I use EFT to tap on the points while the dialogue is being expressed through me. I then petition Azna, Mother God, for peace of mind, and I also ask for the things I have requested to be fulfilled. I envision Azna with beautiful white light, and close my eyes for a short meditation.
This ritual is a way for the mind to relax and all thoughts that don't want it to relax to come together in peace and harmony. We all know the value in full expression, and by doing this simple nightly routine, you'll have a peaceful, restful night's sleep….the natural way!
