Who are the greatest teachers?
We can have this mindset that it's gurus, who we have labeled as successful, that are our greatest teachers. This can be true as we can learn a lot from their teachings.
Yet, it's really the people that we interact with on a daily basis who are our greatest teachers. They give us continual feedback and we use them as a barometer to help us stay aligned with who we truly are.
When we are triggered by the feedback, then we are out of alignment, and have forgotten who we are. It is in these interactions that our God force is being tested. Now, I don't like the idea of tests so hear me out when I say that these tests are for our purpose that we have set up.
I may read all the spiritual books, listen to spiritual teachings and then go out and interact with people and boom…someone says something that I differ with, and I'm out of alignment with the first interaction. Thus, these teachers are the people that I am creating with my consciousness so that I reclaim my power, and am grateful for them showing up.
If they say something to me and it sticks, I own it! I always take 100% responsibility for the way I feel. That's why I like ho'oponopono. The basic premise is we take 100% responsibility for what we see "out there," that makes us uncomfortable, and we repeat these four phrases on a continual basis to clear what is inside of us: I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.
Practice this and see how it feels. You can check out Dr. Len and Joe Vitale's work on this very subject by reading their book, Zero Limits.
