You know, it's been very interesting to revisit my near death experience many, many times. It's been 26 years since it occurred, and yet it has always hovered over me as a place to remember….just like visiting home .

Now, what is happening is I'm remembering the experience so that I can see the truth in every situation. With this said, no one has the truth outside of us, and I'll explain what I mean.

In 1984, I was six months pregnant, and awakened with intense pain in my leg. After making a phone call to my doctor, it was determined that I had a blood clot, and my doctor said I should be seen by him. My doctor's practice was located in a city where I worked, and would require a 2 hour commute. Upon giving this information to my doctor, he didn't feel it was problematic. As I was getting ready, I began to feel faint. Thus, we decided to make a mad dash to our local ER. The intensity of the pain in my leg was so great that my husband got me a wheelchair when we arrived at the hospital because I couldn't walk. While in the ER, I began to feel faint again, and was quickly wheeled into the main ER room.

This is where the near death experience occurred. I immediately entered another dimension of higher consciousness and experienced such profound peace. Even though the ER staff was rushing around frantically, and one nurse said, "We're losing her and the baby's heart rate is dropping," her words had no meaning to me. In addition, another nurse grabbed my wrist, and told me that she needed to poke a needle in my wrist and that it would hurt. Yet, you can probably imagine I felt no pain whatsoever. I was at zero point, at no meaning land….nothing had any signficance. My thoughts stopped, and the only thing that resonated was my heightened state of being. It just existed without putting any label to it. Incidentally, unbeknownst to me, my husband was told that we, the baby and I, may not make it and to prepare himself.

Then I heard my own voice say, "I just want to go to sleep." Then another voice said, "It's not your time." This is when I was given an IV of heparin, which thins the blood, and I came back into the third dimension filled with the intense pain once again. To make a long story short, I did have pulmonary emboli (clots on my lung). I did recover and delivered a beautiful baby girl, Lindsay, one month later at a bouncing 3 lbs. 11 oz…she's a whopper .

What did this near death experience teach me?

Like I said, over the course of many years, this experience has hovered around me. Now, within the last six months, I've embraced it into my whole being. Why? Because nothing outside of me dictates anything, especially truth. The nurses comments were based on the machine I was hooked up to, and the reflection of the numbers that were being revealed. I am the co-creator with my life, along with my soul and all my beings of light. It is these co-creators which dictate the truth, and events and situations will unfold as a mechanism to reveal this truth.

I know that during that time I entered another dimension, I was given a choice to leave or to stay. Although it's not within my frame of reference to remember this, but I do know the choice was made for me to stay. With this said, the next steps were put in motion to make this a reality.

Now, I see this near death experience for the message it gives me, and know that many things happening outside of me will call into question my own truth…be it health, relationships, financial issues, etc. If I give into these things as being true, then my own truth gets distorted from coming into being, and the perception of chaos ensues.

That's why it's important to come from a higher state of consciousness that knows the truth. The ego, the physical mind, can't know the big picture. It may only see numbers and start the ol' chaos ball rolling. The numbers have no meaning in and of themselves, it's only what we've trained ourselves to look at when we see numbers…high, low, good, bad, too much, not enough. Thus, you can see how much emphasis is placed on things outside of us as truth.

We can remember one thing: Circumstances don't matter. Only state of being matters. It's that simple!

WOWZA…we can have some interesting energy patterns move through us intending to serve as a message. When I was in New York, 3 years ago, I didn't listen to my intuition which told me that a New York experience was not intended to serve me. You see, when I'm on vacation, I like to be near a beach, complete with lounge chair to park my hiney and then move from the chair to the water. This back and forth wave from the chair to the water is exactly what appeals to my soul .

Having said this, while in New York, I encountered an energy system that was designed to communicate where I was out of agreement. In this getting bounced around as if in a dryer effect, I learned so much about always setting the intention to serve me.

Before we can unify with an energy pattern of the dryer kind, we will first encounter contrast or separation identifying twoness. It's asking us to look at it, heed its message and then create light around it so that it can become oneness with that which we are.

We are a spiraling energy pattern and in each moment there are energy patterns intending to move into our orbit. We then interact with the energy patterns in a fun, loving way or get banged around the dryer way. We get to decide how we're going to move with it.

And remember, it's all inside us. Thus, using energy techniques to help us makes sense. It isn't about taking action as we're used to doing by just moving away from it as wherever we go, there we are. It will surface again until we look at it, and understand its message.

Think about this. If I looked at the experience of New York, and blamed everything that happened on the people of New York and said it was a terrible place to go, I wouldn't have learned the message it served for me. My intuition, my energy guidance system, knows what is most appealing for me….when I choose to listen .

We are pure light, and I'm excited to share what I discovered as I was sitting in my hot tub. Please forgive me as I express a "gazillion" times during the video that this is "who we truly are" in our light formlessness. I was in awe of the message I was receiving that this is me and this is you, and we are one.

As you watch the light dance, and turn into various wave forms, keep in mind that you're looking at a mirror. This essence, this light, is the true reflection of your source. You and your source are one.

As the author in Sunlight on Water suggests, "We are changing from a will-driven muscle to a substance-embodied wave. It is a movement from stamina, drive, practicing, habituation and training to receiving, unfolding, unifying and to manifestation through consciousness." We are that substance, and riding the wave with it will ensure its flowing nature of oneness.

Everything is fluid and balanced, and as we put our intention on what we desire, our pure light requires no physical energy. We are that which we desire. All of our circuits are working in harmony and this formlessness is all that is needed in the creation of the whole.

As we are light, and everyone and everything is light, there is nothing that we need from anyone or anything. If we're "thinking" that we need something, it's an awareness that suggests we're not aware of our light in this moment. Simply refresh your awareness and stand in this knowing that the light is all there is.

Receiving and giving are cycles of truth, and when we allow ourselves to receive, we actually set up a dynamic vibration for our desires to be in resonance. We've heard of a model that you must give in order to receive. With this said, I'm actually hearing that a new model is emerging, and creating space for receiving enhances the cycle of truth.

When you allow yourself time in meditation to receive the essence of who you really are, you then automatically give as it completes the cycle. This flowing essence is filled within, and then flows out as the continuous flowing message of truth. I receive truth, I give truth. These wonderful messages that we receive from the beings all around us are intended to be given to others for them to receive. In this way, we keep the cycle intact.

Interesting to note that people who channel set aside a huge amount of time to receive the energy as it feels so good. Thus, you know that if they didn't, they wouldn't be able to hold the energy that wants to be known.

It's like you're hooking yourself up so to speak to an IV of truth, and truth naturally has to flow through you, and then from you. Thus, this cycle of truth, this light of who you truly are, keeps receiving and giving. And in this flow, you naturally give from where you started from as the receiver of essence from many eons ago. If you were to look at it from a special camera, you wouldn't be able to distinguish receiving from giving as there really is no starting point and no ending point.

When you're hooked up to your IV of truth, you may want to incorporate music. Just choose music that resonates with you, with your essence.

You may be served by setting aside time each day to "hook 'em up." Then your truth gets spoken on a regular basis as when you engage in any conversation, you are communicating from the place from which you received. Just make sure you put your "receiving room" sign on the door so that the "distractions" won't interrupt your IV solution .

The awakening process is beautiful, and brings you to such great expansion. As I've been creating these enery vortexes and being one with things, I've created this concept of no time.

Recently, I was painting my door and heard such profound messages, "There is no beginning and no end so just become one." Thus, when I heard this message, I envisioned this web of creation in that there were little streams of me going out to the Universe and connecting to everything…much like a spider's web. You couldn't tell where the beginning was nor the ending as they linked to every possibility that exists. In addition, I also set an intention and said, "I intend to unify with your essence. This is my purpose. This is what I want to do."

I could feel the difference in me when I did this set up as the brush took on a life of its own. I wasn't worried about how much time I allowed for the door painting…time didn't even enter the picture. I think of the times when I used to be such a list creator and could't wait to cross off the list that which I had completed. This was my ego days when crossing off the list was the entire purpose. Thus, you see I was never one with anything except drawing a line through that project. All I could think about was, "I can't wait to be done so I can move on to the next project." Yikes!

You know, when we set an intention, the whole Universe conspires on our behalf. An intention is an agreement that is created and all focus goes to that intention. The horns have been sounded and everything comes to our aid. Now, when we waver from that intention, which I still do, the Universe will come back with our contract and ask, "Did you want to create a new agreement or are we complete with the original agreement?" This intention makes it so that we are one with what we intended. When we're one, then our physical reality will conform to that which we intend.

It seems so easy until a date or time comes into focus, and then the waffling begins. Reminding ourselves that there is no time will help us stay one with our intention.

We contribute to the whole of creation as the co-creator that we are. And when you can think of these little streams (web of creation) going out to join other little streams, then it makes it so important to give our intention so that we receive our intention. It's the beauty of giving and receiving as one.

Just remember to set your intention and then be that intention by saying, "I intend to unify with the essence of you. This is my purpose. This is what I want to do."

We're expanding light into light so when we change what we're doing, it's an opportunity to set the same intention with whatever we're doing. I set my intention when I began (so to speak) this video and this blog. Becoming one with what we're doing is our contribution to the whole, and our vibration is resonating across the oceans .

What an interesting way to view us in this physical realm: to serve as a bridge, a conduit, for the communication that comes through us to be delivered to humanity. We're like a UPS delivery person .

In the video are techniques to use to help stay grounded so to speak. When you think about it, it's the only time we welcome being grounded . When we were kids, being grounded meant a disciplinary action.

The more that we can stay grounded so that the messages flowing through us are received, the more that our soul lines up with our purpose. In this way, things flow easily and effortlessly. We are constantly receiving messages from the greatest telecommunication system in the world. I mean our soul doesn't need towers or satellites; it uses our physical body, our third dimensional realm in order to communicate the message. We are it!

Thus, we access the messages from the higher dimensions through many techniques such as meditation, chakras, breath, etc. And then we deliver the message that is received.

Practice utilizing the techniques, and it does take practice as we're so used to acting from our third dimension, our ego/personality. In this way, we learn that our third dimension is really the bridge, the connector, for information to flow through.

We know what it feels like to come from our heart as the heart serves as the pulse of the Universe. Hopefully, the 12 breath heart meditation breathing exercises I mention in the video will help you come from your heart.

And remember, being grounded is a good thing .

What a beautiful way to express ourselves when we know we're communicating at the soul level. When we do this, we're able to be guided by the Divine in all our interactions in each moment.

Think about this….

We either communicate from our ego or from our soul, and we know which one is doing the talking. It's very obvious, right? The ego will be communicating from our physical mind, and the soul will be communicating from our heart, from the depths of who we truly are.

Before we have conversations with others, we can access their soul and communicate with it. It may look something like this, "I really appreciate how we can design this new product line and have it be centered around the love that we have for our company." In addition, we can converse when there is something painful that is existing, and centering it around love as well.

Our businesses have a soul, our credit cards have a soul, our checking account has a soul, our "commitment" has a soul, all of our thoughts have a soul. Thus, whatever we're thinking about, we can stop what is occurring and start the communication from the soul. Thus, if we're worried about a bill, we can say, "You know, I appreciate your message. What I'd like to do right now is transform this into light because we're Universal servants." In this way, it now re-starts the thought, the communication, going on from the soul perspective.

It has really helped me, and I find that perceiving light is not just a rote awareness, it's actually being felt at my cellular level. I am being of service in each moment, and serving my soul because this is who I truly am. I'm not my ego so serving my ego doesn't make sense any longer. It used to, and there are still times that my ego shows up, and I just reframe my thinking to reflect more light.

Well, I don't know about you, but I've been experiencing some amazing waves of awareness. You see, I have made a commitment to know my soul so I'm led by it, and hear its messages and my life becomes one of ease. With this said, I recently had a circuitry alignment and in this session, Gayatri, the facilitator, accesses the Akashic Records in order to allow my soul blueprints to come forth and align in my body. Our bodies haven't experienced our soul blueprints in this dimension, and thus, it's helping integration on all levels. This was two weeks ago, and I've been fully engaged in the follow-up practice so I keep grounding in the experience. Like I said, I'm fully committed. My soul is eternal, this physical presence is temporary. Thus, it makes sense to focus on the eternal side of things for me.

When we embark on a journey of awakening and getting to know our true identity, it is done in baby steps. Many things we are learning, and although we would like to fast forward and just be done with the lessons already, our learning is designed to be cherished in steps.

You know, when a baby is first learning to walk, he or she does so with the intent of "getting" it. For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to refer to the baby as she. She starts out crawling and then begins to take a few steps. She holds on to things until she feels comfortable without support. She may even fall down and cry out of frustration. It doesn't matter how long it takes, she intuitively knows she will walk on her own despite upsets along the way.

As parents, we don't yell at her. We encourage, we clap, we embrace the entire experience for all it's intended. We know we are to do this, and we don't question it. My daughter was a great teacher for me as she didn't walk until 17 months. Having said this, I thought she was "supposed" to walk at 12 months, and became a little frustrated when she took longer. I mean isn't 12 months the measuring stick we use? My daughter was, and still continues to be, my greatest teacher. How many times have I tried to rush the experience because of my expectations, which were ego related?

If we just translate this wisdom of baby steps to our own walk with our soul, it would be very advantageous. It takes tremendous courage to walk and be led by our soul. It's not something that has been taught. Having said this, Dr. Sha, who has written several books on the soul, discusses that in 2003 it became the Era of the Soul, and that an opening occurred for us to have soul over matter vs. mind over matter. The opening is that many people have come so that we may learn how to do this.

It takes commitment, it takes patience, it takes practice. The soul communication is very subtle, and communicates from the heart. If you have decided that this is something which is important to you, then open up into baby steps. The wisdom is being revealed. Just take heart, and know that appreciating your every step is contributing to your soul and all the beings of light. They extend gratitude to you. You can have the concept of light, but as you keep practicing and affirming the light, you begin to experience light….very beautiful!

Just know there is nothing more important than knowing why we're here. The only way we're going to know this is to communicate with our soul at every step of the way. Be easy about it and have fun.

When we glean the lessons, the messages, in our lives, the AHA's just can't compete with anything else. This hidden treasure is exactly what we are to find as we made a decision to incarnate in this earth experience right at this time.

A book, Courageous Souls by Robert Schwartz, you may find useful on your awakening journey. In this book, Robert has discussions with souls through mediums and channels. In the conversation, it is uncovered why the soul chose specific painful experiences. It is because the soul wanted to learn self-love, self-acceptance, patience, compassion. I can certainly attest to my painful experiences that unfolded as I learned so much through the experience that I wouldn't have otherwise known.

Thus, your life may not be what you thought. It's simplicity at its finest: step-by-step system to just embody self-love and self-acceptance in each moment. Having said this, the challenges that bring up fear and other stuff, are intended as a written script to be played out by all actors and situations to teach us exactly what we wanted to learn.

Now, we may not recall this agreement that was created prior to our incarnation, and the only way we can "remember" the agreement is to go through the experience, and decide to learn from it. And it doesn't matter if we learn it in this physical incarnation; the duration of time doesn't matter. We are supported no matter what. Thus, time has no meaning in and of itself…ever.

So if you've had many challenges throughout your physical life experience, and the feeling has been intense, it's exactly what you wanted. You may have had many incarnations with the same life them, and that's why the feeling is so great.

When you can look at your challenges from another perspective in that your pre-birth planning is being played out, then you may take comfort in knowing your circumstances were Divinely designed. And the support through all of this is loving, no matter how painful it feels. All of the people came together to express unconditional love so that you may learn your lessons.

This is why the title Courageous Souls makes perfect sense. We are courageous to decide to incarnate right now to balance the planet with love. I'm so grateful that you are on this journey with me, and I applaud your courage .

It's really a unique experience when we let go and allow Divine guidance to lead us. It's not always easy as our ego, our personality, has been leading for most of our life, and really would prefer to lead…yikes!

Last Saturday, I was having the most blissful experience in allowing my Spirit to lead me. I felt one with everything, and felt so alive. Truly trusting my intuition is my challenge because it isn't always logical. My intuition might say, "Take two steps back, and then go forward." My left brain analysis will say, "This doesn't seem right, doesn't seem logical." Having said this, the Higher Mind knows the shortest distance, and trusting in it is the key.

On my Saturday journey, I found myself at WalMart with my boyfriend as he wanted to get a haircut. We walked by the hair salon and my boyfriend didn't see his favorite stylist so we kept walking. I then stopped, and said, "There are many stylists waiting for customers. Maybe you should just go in and choose one?" We then went back, and he went inside and I sat outside on the bench.

I made a call on my cell phone and saw a woman sit down next to me on the two-person bench. I hung up the phone and this woman turned to me and said, "You are so precious. You are loved beyond anything you can imagine. You have gifts to share with the world." She then told me that she had a brain aneurysm and was spared, and had a desire to share love and joy with others. She knows which ones she is going to share her message with, and that's why she waited until I was off the phone. As she was leaving she said, "Don't forget that you are precious."

Needless to say, I was bawling and speechless, and no words would come out of my mouth. She was an angel sent to deliver this message to me, and I received it wrapped in love.

There are angels everywhere and they have Divine messages for us. It's when we slow down, and are still that we are able to have the message delivered. Otherwise, we're running all over the place and the angels get a little exhausted running after us . Their singing telegrams are a joy to experience.

I'm so appreciative of everyone and everything that comes into my life to teach me what I need to learn so that my soul, my spirit, can fulfill its journey. And it's always fun to explore that angels can appear everywhere, even at WalMart .
