Have you heard of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld? Well, I used to be the Food Nazi, I was so regimental in my food intake and being a pain in the rear with myself and with others. I was so judgmental about the whole eating process because I was so sick years ago, and received a lot of information about changing some things in my diet. And I didn't want to return to that pain so embodied a whole structure so that nothing would have me fall back to that moment in time….yikes!

I've since relaxed about food as I know it's my vibration which adds to the nutrient base of the food. With this said, I now do a sacred time with my food, and I imagine it infused with sunlight where it glows in preparation for the ingestion process. I then imagine that the food goes through my body and lights up every cell. In this way, I'm facilitating its nutrient and excretion process in a light form, and the digestion process is easy and light-hearted .

You know, I do eat chocolate and use the same "light" process, and it just makes me feel good. Even if we eat what we consider healthy foods, and we're ingesting judgment, anger or guilt right along with the food, this reduces the nutrient base. Using a sacred ceremony with the food before ingesting it helps maintain a light body, and if you're overweight, this will help your body release what is considered "heavy."

Another thing to consider is be with your food–try not to do anything else when you're eating. I think we're all learning to be present in the moment, and this is certainly something to consider when eating. It's that whole fast food phenomena that we have, but I think the word "fast" is the operative word.

When we slow down everything, we actually aid its vibration to move faster for us. Light moves at a fast speed and will work in harmony with our bodies when we give it license to drive over the speed limit by being present with it, and allowing it to do so. It will lighten its load, and that's what we want.

Have fun having a light-hearted experience with your food .

On a recent segment of Oprah, Oprah commented on how frustrating it is that she is still discussing the weight. As we Americans know all too well, it's one of the topics of discussion that is very painful as millions of people are overweight and can't quite figure out the formula to facilitate their weight loss…and sustain it.

What I know for sure is that weight loss is tied to toxic bodies. Toxins are stored in fat cells, and once the toxins are released, then there's no need to hold on to the excess fat.

Look at this new weight loss product that will blow the fat cells to smitherines:

Losing weight doesn't need to take forever, it can actually go quickly when given the proper food nutrients to eliminate the unwanted fat cells. Just take a look at the link and then decide for yourself.

And watch for more testimonials…..

Yoga is revered for its power to relieve stress, increase flexibility, and build muscle tone. It is not, however, well known for promoting weight loss. So you might be surprised to learn that it can actually help us burn calories.

Traditional yoga is not an extremely active pursuit. It works our muscles, but we rarely break a sweat just by holding a pose (unless it's really hot in the room). But the muscle-building effects of yoga do allow us to burn calories more efficiently. So if we participate in a good aerobic workout, we will see greater results than we would if we weren't doing yoga.

Yoga can also give us the discipline we need to stick to a diet and exercise program. It enhances the relationship between the mind and body, giving us the motivation to take better care of ourselves. Lack of motivation is a frequent problem among those who want to lose weight, so this is a very important benefit.

New Incarnations of Yoga

Those who want to lose weight solely through yoga might find what they're looking for in non-traditional yoga classes. There are a number of yoga styles that can give us the traditional benefits of yoga and a cardiovascular workout at the same time. These include:

* Vinyasa yoga – This type of yoga is based on movement from one pose to another while practicing yoga breathing techniques. Sun Salutations are frequently used, but other poses are usually included as well. This is sometimes done in a hot room to increase sweating.

* Ashtanga yoga – Ashtanga is a complex style of yoga that includes six different series of poses. Each serious is more complex than the previous one, so it is important to start at the beginning and work your way up.

* Power yoga – This is an Americanized version of yoga. It combines faster, more active movements with traditional yoga breathing techniques.

These types of yoga are more likely to increase our heart rate and work up a sweat than traditional yoga. While they may not give us as much of a workout as aerobics, they combine weight loss and cardiovascular benefits with the muscle building and flexibility training of yoga. And for those who do not have the time to participate in two separate workout programs, they can be great options.

Other than being forms of exercise, yoga and aerobics seem to have little in common. But traditional yoga can enhance the effects of more intense workouts, and these newly popular styles of yoga can give us the best of both worlds. If other workout routines have left you disappointed, adding or switching to yoga might be the answer you're looking for.
